Someone on here mentioned it a week or so ago on the Gen Discussion board I believe. I just watched this 2 nights ago and agree it was really really good. More reasons to always own a gun and have it on you.

I think we just recently had another thread like this but I watched this movie and liked it. It does a good job of portraying pretty realistically what might happen in such a scenario and what happens when you listen to the authorities

Another interesting movie which in my opinion captures very well a realistic response of people P-SHTF is the movie "The Mist".

I suggest you go watch that one as well.

Has anyone seen "On the Beach"? There's a recent Australian production of it, and it's one of the best TEOTWAWKI movies around. I got it on Netflix a while back.

On the Beach??? They did a movie adaptation of that book?? That book is amazing. In High School I had the coolest english teacher ever and our freshman year she had us read that book. The list of books she had us read were amazing. She almost got fired because of the books she wanted us to read.

Nope, not a loser, just scared s***less--and unprepared. Most of us here would have set up an isolation room for her.

About all I got from watching this movie was, don't trust the information MSM or gov't sanctioned. Don't live in a large city, I'd stay 50 miles out if possible. OTT, I thought the whole thing was a rather dumb movie with a very weak plot and not so good acting, in other words, it was just a movie mainly for entertainment purposes only not much else. I think most if not all of us here are much further along at being informed and prepared than the people in this flick.

Thanks, Dan. It looked pretty lame to me, glad I didn't bother watching it.

YouTube - The Mist Trailer

I liked Tommy Knockers
Maybe its because of the goofy acting and cheesy dialogue but for some reason I found it entertaining, I also liked Langoliers though

I thought Right at Your Door was ok, kind of boring and I hated how the girl was always crying and I thought the guy main character was a douche and pretty annoying. Story was decent though.

Mist was awesome imho, my favorite movie of last year

I haven't seen the recent version of "On The Beach", is it better than the original one with Gregory Peck? I'm a sucker for happy endings!

How about "Miracle Mile"?

Or the early sixties classic, "Panic In Year Zero"...

Right at your Door is an awesome movie.

I liked in the movie where the cops shot people on the street. Very confronting.

I also liked where he realises he has no food or water and is stuck in his home. Ouchie

I saw it. One-and-a-half stars out of five.

Movies are supposed to be entertaining. That one certainly wasn't.

The only reason for the half-star is that it did an OK job (for a few minutes) at communicating the sense of horror and disbelief that happens with many in a time of disaster.
